We work with the ONE OF THE most sustainable leather tannerys in the world. Our leather is tanned using vegetable dye and is chemical free.

Sustainable & Handmade Cowboy Boots -

All of our cowboy boots are hand drawn and designed in house in Colorado and are handmade by boot makers in Leon, Mexico. Our boots are made from the most sustainable leather in the world. We use an ancient technique called vegetable tanning. Meaning our leather is 100% free of chemicals.

1991 boots is a small business. We have very limited stock in each boot, so each boot is an heirloom and a collection piece. It is our vision to create cowboy boots that withstand fashion trends and live on forever to be passed down from generation to generation.
