Designed to be worn for decades, not seasons, every collection is produced in limited quantities and crafted with intention alongside our skilled bootmakers in León, Mexico.

Every pair of 1991 boots begins as a hand drawn sketch.
Founder and designer Kirah Perle hand draws each collection, drawing inspiration from the romance of the American West, vintage heirlooms, and the women who live and love this way of life. From the first pencil sketch to the final stitch, every design is created with the intention of becoming a future classic—timeless pieces meant to be worn, loved, and passed down.
Once designed, each collection is brought to life in collaboration with a small family of master bootmakers in León, Mexico, a region renowned for generations of leatherworking and bootmaking craftsmanship. Every pair is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, honoring traditional techniques that cannot be replicated by mass production.
We believe exceptional boots begin with exceptional materials. That's why we source our leather from one of the world's leading sustainable tanneries, known for responsible environmental practices and uncompromising quality standards. Our boots are crafted using vegetable-tanned, dyed leather—a process that relies on natural tannins derived from plants rather than harsh chemicals.
This traditional tanning method creates leather that is exceptionally durable, breathable, and rich in character. Rather than wearing out, vegetable-tanned leather develops a beautiful patina over time, softening and evolving with every season, every ride, and every mile traveled. The result is a boot that becomes uniquely yours and grows more beautiful with age.
